About

In 2016 the first Ace Adventures cartoon debuted as part of iGeek, a pop culture webtoon by Megan Christopher. She quickly realized that making comics based on her life as an asexual woman was more interesting than trying to find a unique perspective on geeky media. Over the course of the next several years, her drawing skills improved, her style changed several times, and Ace Adventures was rebranded as You’ll Never See Me Naked, inspired by an essay she wrote wherein the then-heteromantic asexual proclaimed:

Give me the hearts and the flowers, but you’ll never see me naked.

In 2024 it was time to expand once again, and create a space where she could explore other A-words central to her identity that often went overlooked. It’s not easy to portray a life built in the absences, but somebody’s got to do it.

Megan Christopher is a native of Los Angeles – or as she likes to call it, the Sexual Dysfunction Capital of the World. Not much changed for her when she discovered the term ‘asexual’ at 20, except for finally feeling like she wasn’t broken. She stumbled into a job in a comic book store several years later, and one day decided she was going to learn how to draw. She’s still learning.
